After a two-year hiatus due to health challenges, racer David Thorndyke is set to make a triumphant return to the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
Thorndyke will be back on the track at the final road course event of the year, taking place at the iconic Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) near Bowmanville, Ontario, on Sunday, September 3rd.
The driver who pilots the #67 Thorsons EVT Chevrolet, has been absent from the circuit due to health issues. However, Thorndyke is now back in the driver’s seat, fully recovered, and ready to rekindle his passion for racing.
To mark his return, David Thorndyke’s team is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with ChillOut Motorsports. The collaboration will see ChillOut Motorsports becoming a partner of the #67 Thorsons EVT Chevrolet team. ChillOut Motorsports is a leading provider of cutting-edge cooling systems for high-performance vehicles.
“Returning to the track after these two years away feels like a dream come true. I’ve missed the competition, the fans, and the thrill of racing,” said David Thorndyke. “I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my team, sponsors, and fans who stood by me during my recovery. Teaming up with ChillOut Motorsports is an exciting opportunity, and I can’t wait to showcase their exceptional cooling systems on the racetrack.”
